A Haines City man arrested early Sunday morning is suspected of stabbing his wife to death, according to a police spokesman.
Officers arrived at 1:13 a.m. at the Haines City home of the accused attacker and victim and found two men subduing Tommy Jones, 49, of Haines City, who is suspected of killing his wife, Juanita Jackson-Jones, 56.
The two men, Floyd O’Hara Jr., 24, and Joaquin Omar Jackson, 33, were sons of Jackson-Jones and lived in the couple’s home, according to police. Police also said that both men suffered wounds while subduing Jones and were treated and released from local hospitals.
Police did not disclose what charges were pending and said that that an investigation is continuing.
